Overview and Highlights

Resources / Drop Box Tool  Fixes to Drag and Drop functionality.

Assignment Tool  Problems with in-line comments resolved.

BUG FIXES:

Resources

  • Copyright Alert Issues:  Files uploaded to the Resources Tool via the Drag and Drop feature and assigned a copyright status of “Public Domain” will no longer trigger a copyright status alert when users open the file.  The alert will also no longer display for files where the instructor holds the copyright or has permission and does not require that the copyright alert is displayed.

Drop Box

  • Drag and Drop Feature: Files can now be successfully uploaded to the Drop Box tool using the Drag and Drop Feature.
  • Copyright Alert Issues:  Files uploaded to the Drop Box Tool via the Drag and Drop feature will no longer trigger a copyright status alert when users open the file.

Assignment Tool

  • Assignment Comments:  Maintenance fixed an issue where Instructor comments placed within the inline text of a student response were not being saved.  Comments posted within brackets - {{ comment }} - are now saved and are viewable by students.

Roster Tool

  • Roster Tool Views: For courses with multiple rosters (umbrella sites, courses with discussion sections, etc…), the “View” drop down menu  which allows you to select specific roster sections  is now alphabetized.

Known Issues

  • Resources Tool:  When using the file browser upload functionality, attempting to upload files over 100 MB will cause a “Connection was reset” error.
