How Do I Update a Student's Clicker ID?

NOTE:  Students only have to register their clickers in one course site, as the IDs will propagate to any and all other course sites that require a clicker registration.

If the student has not registered a clicker:

You can use the Clicker Registration tool's email link to send an email to all students that have not registered a clicker.  The email contains an auto-generated response with a link to your course site.

Go to Clicker Registration

In your course site, go to the Clicker Registration tool by clicking the link in the left side navigation bar.

Click the “Send Email to Unregistered Students” button.

Once the notification email has been sent, a green verification box will appear indicating successful transmission.

If you need to change a student's clicker ID:

Go to Clicker Registration

In your course site, go to the Clicker Registration tool by clicking the link in the left side navigation bar.

Click on Clicker ID

Click on Clicker ID

Find the student from the list, and click the corresponding clicker ID.

Enter new Clicker ID

Enter a new clicker ID or change the existing ID in the text field and click the Update button to save the change.

Once a clicker ID list is purged, it cannot be recovered and clicker registrations will be deleted from all course sites, including other courses that a student may have a registered clicker. Please note that a warning window will appear asking the instructor to verify a purge by checking a box.
